Cruger Johnson Phillips

Creating has been a living hub in my life for as long as I can remember. I have worked in drawing, painting, quilting, sculpture, poetry, creative, writing, and collage.

After a career in mental health, counseling, spiritual direction, and hospice chaplaincy, I am now focused on expressing Spirit in art. Turning to abstraction has been a natural progression as I seek to express a hidden wholeness in color and composition.

All of my original work currently on display at West Brookfield Art & Frame Gallery are cold wax oil paintings. They are the result of my efforts to lean into color and shape relationships, and share my harmonious discoveries with the viewer.
