Sundays in 2026 just got a little more fun! Stop in any time from 10-2pm to make something with your own two hands! Follow the gallery on social media, or call in to see what we’re doing that day. Kids are always welcome with good behavior, and beads might be in the mix more often than not! Participation costs will vary, no charge for tutelage!

BOTANICAL PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS
March 5th, 12th & 19th. Join gallery artist, Vanessa Varjian, for a three session class where you’ll learn the basics of drawing in session 1, color mixing in session 2, and complete a final painting with acrylic paint in session 3! WATERCOLOR LANDSCAPE PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS
March 26th, April 2nd, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23 Join gallery artist and owner, Rebecca Fay for some FUN, and a series of 5 watercolor landscape classes for beginners. April 25th Join gallery artist, John Collins, for a LIVE PORTRAIT SCULPTURE DEMO! Stop in any time between 1-5pm to witness the artist at work. I’ve seen him sculpt from life, and it’s amazing!

PLEIN AIR PAINT OUT and WET PAINT SALE
May 15th, 16th, & 17th Join gallery artists painting around town on Friday & Saturday, (the WB Asparagus festival is also on Saturday!) and Sunday, stop into the gallery between 12-2pm for our WET PAINT SALE from the the previous two days!
SUMMER SOLSTICE OUTDOOR PARTY
June 20th, 6-9pm Come on down to celebrate the Solstice in the center of town with live music, fine art, food, java galore, and sweet treats, when West Brookfield Art & Frame and the JOY of Beans have a little block party as neighboring, woman owned and operated, small business owners!
SUNRISE – A POSTPARTUM SHOW
August 7th, 5-7pm Join gallery artist, Vanessa Varjian, at the opening reception for a collection of new paintings honoring the first year of motherhood. This promises to be a stunning show, and isn’t to be missed. The show will hang for a month, but stop in on the 7th to meet Vanessa and enjoy some wine, cheese, fine art, & community.

September 4th, 5-7pm Join us to welcome guest artist, Evan Lipton, a local painter with a keen interest in our feathered friends. His work is stunning! Stop in on the 4th to meet Evan, have some wine, cheese, community, and to feast your eyes on the beauty of the birds he loves to paint.

September 13th, 2-5pm Join gallery Silversmiths Cathe Palo & Cassandra Goldwater to learn the ancient art of Keum-Boo in jewelry making, where 24k gold foil is bonded to fine silver/argentium to create the look of gold jewelry. Students can expect to make a pair of earring, or a pendant in class. $60.00 per student, plus material cost by weight. Call the gallery to sign up soon, space is limited!

October 2nd, 5-7pm Join us for a fun night with wine, cheese, & community to raise money for our local, West Brookfield food bank, THE SHARING CUPBOARD, where artists donate work for a silent auction! (ALL proceeds go to the Sharing Cupboard)

THE STATE OF OUR UNION
11/6, 5-7pm Join us for a very special opening reception with wine, cheese, ART and community, for a show where the public is encouraged to join in by submitting a piece of work!!! ALL ENTRIES WILL BE HUNG unless they are inappropriate for children. There are only 3 rules: 1. The theme of the art piece is “The State of our Union” 2. Format is 6” x 6” 3. Mail to West Brookfield Art & Frame Gallery at P.O. Box 102, West Brookfield, MA 01585, or drop off at the gallery any time during business hours before October 30th. Feel free to use whatever medium you like! YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AN “ARTIST” OR AN ADULT TO PARTICIPATE, and it doesn’t matter what you like or don’t like … ALL work submitted will be respected.

November 8th, 2-5pm. Recycle vintage, silver plated flatware into wearable art with gallery silversmiths, Cassandra Goldwater & Cathe Palo!!
